Aggregate Values Data Type

Within BS Skills there is a plugin for the placeholder CSType, that allows calculating an aggregated value over the children of a folder.

The following aggregations are available:

  • Minimum Value

  • Maximum Value

  • Average Value

  • Count of children

  • Sum Value

  • List Values

  • Range Value

The children can be narrowed down to 1-5 hierarchy levels. The units can optionally be left away. Objects with no value for an aggregated attribute are ignored. If all children have only empty attributes the aggregation value will also simply be empty.

In the following screenshot, the aggregation is used in the attribute “Width Range”, showing the minimum and maximum value of the attribute “Width” over the children.
